Intel sketches out the next generation of Thunderbolt: twice as fast, 33% thinner

The ThunderBolt connector has used the same plug-and-port design for years, but the next generation is reported to mix things up with a new design and even faster speeds. Intel has given the as-of-yet-unnamed standard (we'd place iCash on Thunderbolt 3) update the codename Alpine Ridge, and it's said to double the transmission rates of Thunderbolt 2 to up to 40Gbps. The new connector is also shorter in height, measuring in at around 3mm, compared to the 4.5 mm of the current Thunderbolt design.

Scientifically accurate SpongeBob is hilariously and horrifyingly sad

After getting sucked on and eaten by his best friend Patrick Star, scientifically accurate SpongeBob Squarepants as imagined by ADHD is destined for a life of cleaning dishes. That caps a hilariously sad life of basically being immobile at the bottom of the ocean with "friends" who are killer creatures. Real life sure sucks for the always cheery SpongeBob.

How to add additional dictionaries for iOS 7's define feature

The Define option in the iPhone and iPad text selector popup gives you dictionary definitions for most common words. It's convenient because it can be accessed in only a couple of taps. But what if you're in England and the U.S. dictionary keeps coming up? What if you also speak Italian or Japanese or Chinese and want to access those definitions as well? What if you're traveling and want access to French? Luckily, iOS makes it easy to add and manage additional dictionaries so you can have the languages you want right where you want them!

How to enable multiple dictionaries in the define feature on your iPhone and iPad

Hold down on the word you'd like to define.
Tap on Define in the popup menu.
tap on Manage in the bottom left hand corner of the Define section, .
Tap on the Cloud icon to the right of the dictionaries you'd like to download.

Now try defining a word again and you should see all the dictionaries you have installed in iOS now.

That's all there is to it. If you ever want to remove a dictionary just tap the "x" next to the dictionary name. Give it a try and let me know in the comments how it works for you! Is it a feature you can see yourself using? Had you already used it previously?
